FAQ

What is an audiogram?

A short video of a podcast or audio clip with a moving waveform, the show artwork and captions, so it stands out — and makes sense with the sound off — in social feeds.

How do I add captions?

The quickest way is to import an .srt or .vtt file: most podcast editors and transcription tools export one. You can also paste the text of your clip and use Sync by tapping, or Spread evenly for a quick rough timing you can fine-tune.

Does it transcribe the audio automatically?

Not yet — captions come from an .srt / .vtt file or from text you paste. Automatic transcription is on the list for a future update.

What size should my audiogram be?

Square (1:1) works everywhere in feeds. Use vertical 9:16 for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok, and 16:9 for YouTube or X.

How long can a clip be?

As long as you like — the export starts with 60 seconds from the playhead selected, and you can change the start and end in the export window. 30–90 seconds tends to work best on social media.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Audio analysis, rendering and video encoding all run inside your browser on your own computer. Your audio, images and text never leave your device.

Which browser should I use?

Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a desktop or laptop give the best results, and can save long exports straight to a file. Other browsers can preview and export shorter videos.

Is it free?

Yes — free with no sign-up and no paywall. The site is supported by the ads on the page. A small "Made with" badge is added to videos by default, and you can switch it off under Text & overlay.
