Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device. Your audio is never sent anywhere, so it’s safe for unreleased music, interviews and voice notes.
How do I cut part of an MP3?
Open the file, drag the blue edges around the part you want to keep, check it with Play, then press Cut & save. Choose MP3 to keep the same format.
How do I remove a section from the middle?
Select the part you don’t want, switch “Keep the selection” to “Remove the selection”, and save. Play previews the result across the join. A little “Smooth the join” crossfade hides any jump.
Does cutting reduce the quality?
The audio is re-encoded when you save. At MP3 320 kbps or WAV the difference is inaudible; choose WAV if you’ll edit the file again.
Can I cut audio from a video?
Yes — open an MP4, MOV or WebM file and the soundtrack is loaded. The video itself is ignored.
Is it free?
