How it works

  1. Drop in a songAny audio file from your device. The key is detected automatically and shown with its Camelot code.
  2. Shift the pitchUse − and + for semitones, fine-tune in cents, or choose a target key. The tempo stays the same unless you ask it to change.
  3. DownloadMake an MP3, M4A or WAV of the whole song — or send it to the visualizer to make a video.

Changing the key, explained

SemitonesOne semitone is one key on a piano. Twelve semitones is an octave. Moving a song up two semitones takes C major to D major.
Same tempoThe song is time-stretched and resampled together, so the pitch moves but the beat stays exactly where it was.
Key detectionThe original key is detected for you, so the new key is shown as you move — handy for matching a singer or another track.
432 HzMost music is tuned to A = 440 Hz. Lowering it by about 32 cents retunes it to A = 432 Hz.

FAQ

Is my song uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device — the processing, the preview and the final file. Your audio is never sent anywhere.

How do I change the key without changing the speed?

Just use the semitone controls. The tempo is kept automatically. Tick Change the speed too only if you want the old record-player effect where both move together.

How many semitones should I shift for singing?

Usually one to three. Men singing a song written for a female voice often go down three to five semitones, and the other way round.

Will it sound natural?

Small shifts of one to three semitones sound very natural. Big jumps — an octave or more — can make voices sound robotic or deep, which some people want as an effect.

How do I convert a song to 432 Hz?

Press the 432 Hz tuning preset. It lowers the pitch by about 32 cents (440 → 432 Hz) and keeps the tempo.

Can I hear the difference?

Yes. Press Compare with original while it plays to flip between the untouched song and your version at the same spot.

Can I upload the result to YouTube, TikTok or Spotify?

Only if you own the song or have permission. An edited version of someone else’s recording is still their recording, and platforms’ copyright systems will usually match it. You’re responsible for what you upload; for your own music, go for it.

Is it free?

Yes — free, no sign-up and no watermark, at full length. The site is supported by the ads on the page.
